We're recruiting volunteer law students

Townsville Community Legal Service is currently recruiting highly motivated, organised and proactive law students to volunteer at our community legal centre. The opportunity involves law students working with a number of experienced lawyers, support workers and administrative staff in a diverse and busy practice which provides legal assistance in social security, family, general civil, migration and elder law matters.

Volunteer students will be a first point of contact for potential clients, and will also have opportunities to undertake paralegal work & support as they progress.

Applications close at 5pm on Friday 1 March 2019.

If you’re interested in this opportunity, please email to Michael at michael@townsvillecommunity.law, outlining why you want to volunteer at a community legal centre and attaching a copy of your curriculum vitae.
